The Sehwag Triple - A melange of moments - Part I
April 1st 2008 13:43
And what we have been watching till now is a masterful display of batting by the Indians - Sehwag and Jaffer. Jaffer just got to his half century - well deserved one for the young opener. And Sehwag looks set for a big one.
Already the Springboks are resorting to extremely negative tactics. Paul Harris - the much talked about best left arm spinner in the world, according to his coach - is bowling about a couple of feet away from leg stump from time to time. He is maintaing a consistent on or outside the leg stump line from over the wicket.
Sehwag still manages to plunder boundaries off him - such is the class of the man.
The stand out stroke of the morning was an effortless leg side glide off a good length incoming delivery - taken from off stump. That stroke is something that Sehwag rarely plays and simply stood out for its beauty and grace as much for the result - a sizzling boundary thudding into the midwicket fence.
