Right, Wrong and Technology

Technology! How can we talk about this Test and not talk about technology being used? What did people make of the review system?
I thought the review system was simply brilliant in patches and only the use of technology could have helped in giving Sachin out in the second innings when the bat hit the ball almost behind the batsman who was on bent knee. As otherwise, the referrals were either straight decisions that were missed by the umpire or ones that were given out by the referral, wrongly. I would advocate the review system to be used for such bat pad cases heartily. But insofar as LBW or even bump ball scenarios are concerned, they are not conclusive. And when we are talking of using technology over human instinct, it better be accurate to override the men in white coats and rendering them mere glorified messengers.
From the Indians' perspective, they had no clue as to how the system should be used. Jayawardene cut a pretty picture pushing for the review exactly when needed while we looked like blundering novices trying our hand at an exotic skill we knew little about and had not cared to learn before trying it out.
