Congratulations to the team on the grand job done in style. Most people contributed to the winning cause and that is what makes winning teams.
Sehwag has come into his own and in the coming 4 or 5 years looks set to rewrite history in many dimensions. Tendulkar is still going strong no matter what people like Ian Chappell and others say! And Yuvraj has silenced many a vociferous critic by performing in style in Test matches in trying circumstances! Not to forget Gambhir who can barely put a foot wrong these days.
While the victory may have been achieved through batting, lets not forget the bowlers' contributions - especially the pace bowlers Ishant and Zaheer. I believe that the spinners (the Indian ones especially) were rather poor in this entire match. However to their credit they wheeled away tirelessly. But this decline in Indian spin standards is indeed worrying. Graeme Swann, the English debutant easily outbowled both the Indian spinners. But there is a little bit of time to go before the second Test and hopefully the Indian spinners will be able to put up a better show there.
